I recently went to a Harvard symposium and tour at the San Francisco Federal Building featuring Pritzker-Prize winning architect, Thom Mayne of LA based firm Morphosis. This new highrise office building is so green that workplace windows actually operate and there's no air conditioning needed. It's a great example of how good architecture is inherently sustainable.
